Facebook Messages
Well, here I am waiting for the auroa nighttime show and so I'm planning around with Blogs and FB! Ah the joys of the 21st c. How did we get along without instant messaging, twitter, FB, email, and all the other wonderful computer/internet "toys" that make our lives so much easier.....or do we waste too much time communicating via the written word rather than face to face?
At least with the written word...if you are a little careful, you can "take back" some things which you might have said and which, after reflection, you realize probably should not be said. Even with emoticoms words can mean different things to different people. Body language is definitely missing in the written word and body language is very important in face to face meetings. As important as the tone of voice in which words are spoken. You may not realize that your tone of voice imparts meaning whether you want it to or not.
